After a decade of public lands activism, Sandy now brings remote places to people, utilizing visuals, narra- tive, and description to inspire others and to compel action to protect and restore our natural world

He contributes a wealth of imagery to the conser- vation community, and his work is widely published in educational and adventure publications.

Wandering the backroads of Oregon, Sandy discovered what a few have long known: rarely seen treasures of great complexity and wonder dot the landscape.

His hope is that others who see the visual record presented here will visit these places to discover their sublime beauty and rich diversity, then work col- lectively to preserve, rebuild, and celebrate our public inheritance.
